NEW WORLD SYMPHONY

Yesterday, was the cremation of my teacher's husband (read my post titled "TIME" ).
After the requiem, before the coffin was closed, their children played Dvorak's New World Symphony - 2nd Movement. (The Symphony No. 9, in E Minor "From the New World" (Op. 95), popularly known as the New World Symphony, was composed by Antonín Dvořák in 1893 during his visit to the United States from 1892 to 1895. It is by far his most popular symphony, and one of the most popular symphonies in the modern repertory.

My teacher has 3 children. Born in a musician family, they are all becoming musicians too. Yesterday, The eldest played the snare drums, the daughter and the youngest son played the flute. The daughter opened the tune of New World Symphony, then the youngest son joined. It was so sad, even more sad, when the younger brother of my teacher's husband joined to sing the vocal part. His beautiful voice and his shaking body caused of the sadness, made us all in tears.

Please find below, a video from youtube.com of New World Symphony - 2nd Movement Part 1 from Dvorak:
