CAVATINA

The meaning of cavatina actually is as follow:

Cavatina (Italian diminutive of cavata, the producing of tone from an instrument, plural cavatine) is a musical term, originally a short song of simple character, without a second strain or any repetition of the air. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavatina)

But the Cavatina that I want to write on my post is the one wrote by Stanley Myers, which is used as a theme of the famous movie "Deer Hunter".

Originally it is written for Piano, but as per John Williams invitation it is re-written for guitar by Mr. Myers. John Williams has recorded the song long before it became famous caused of the releasing the movie of Deer Hunter.

I play guitar, but only at a very beginners level.
With a very hard practice I think I can play a part from the following scores of Cavatina.
