real unreal, masks and trust

"it is so damn difficult for me to understand people lately. some of them truly wearing mask covering their face, hiding reality inside, showing unreality outside, " a friend of mine said.

i am laying on my bed right now, looking out through my window, seeing the dark sky outside... million of stars twinkling giving clues that they are exist.

thinking of you, people that i love..... you never wearing masks.
sometimes won't be easy to understand you guys...., but there will always trust

(i could not continue anymore..... my memory full of gust ... longing badly of you..., people that i love...., my mind wandering to a composition from the phantom of the opera ..., masks......, trusts......., real ......, unreal....)

MICHAEL FEINSTEIN

Michael Feinstein started playing piano by ear when he was five. As a teenager, he played at weddings and parties in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from high school, he worked in local piano lounges for two years, moving to Los Angeles when he was 20.

Through the widow of legendary concert pianist - actor Oscar Levant, he was introduced to Ira Gershwin in July 1977. He became his assistant for six years, granting him access to numerous unpublished Gershwin songs, which he has since performed and recorded.

Michael is one of my favorite singer - piano player. His romantic voice and beautiful tunes he played soothed your mind when you listen to his music.

HOW DO YOU KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING ?

First time I knew this song was the version sung by Michael Feinstein, which included in his album Romance of Broadway. From several songs recorded in 2 CDs in that album, I just don't know why I fell in love suddenly to this beautiful song and ever since then I started to play the record over and over again.

There is an unexplained sadness that I felt when listening to this tune. That kind of sadness left a trace of emptiness in my mind which is unable to be patched. LIFE, for me is also a kind 'music'. Everybody plays their own genre, with their own pace, dynamic and rhythm.

I am, myself, trying very hard to keep my music of life playing............
